The Flood is a peaceful 5 minute narrative experience in which you pilot a little boat down a river. It’s a gentle reminder that sometimes we should stop worrying about our destination and just enjoy the journey. Game was released as a free title on 30th of March 2018 and so far it was played by over 80 000 users on Steam. It is available for Windows, Mac & Linux in 11 languages.
I developed this game alone during a course of 3-4 months. Whole project started when I was experimenting with environment design and it has slowly developed into a short metaphorical journey. The Flood was very well received and it currently has 85% of positive reviews on Steam.
Game got covered on YouTube by hundreds of content creators and various websites like Sector.sk, Alphabetagamer and others. Soundtrack for the game was composed by Jozef Sarissky.
